Thanks to this amazing program, which provided an opportunity for our family to stay connected with our creator and the outdoors. Each session gave an appreciation of His Attributes. We learned about the life cycle of different plants this year. Exploring through all their senses in the garden was one of the highlights. The craft and story time with sister Rabia and sister Nayyareen were so engaging, each week a new activity that would be tied in to the lesson. Ofcourse the cherry on top was the actual cherries the children harvested early summer, all the root vegetables they got to eat in salads. We feel so grateful that a program like this exists in Scarborough, may Allah continue to bless this program and guide all our children, Aameen.

Thanks to gardening classes and Nature kindergarten, we spotted this tree yesterday in our building parking lot. It is a mulberry plant. Amazing how our observation has improved. I've been living here since so many years and did not spot this before. And alhumdullillah my children were confident and eager to try them and enjoy them, they were ripe and sweet. 😍

The Gardening classes are amazing! My 4yr old son and I had the opportunity to see how herbs are grown and how to recognize different types of herbs by their smell. Sister Nayyareen had creative interactive arts and crafts activities for the kids which the kids enjoyed a lot. I would highly recommend the sessions to everyone.
