Our Services and Support

Weekly Meetups

Join our regular in-person gatherings where families come together for group learning, social activities, and project-based workshops. These sessions offer a chance for children to learn with peers in a friendly, inclusive environment and for parents to share ideas and strategies.

Resource Sharing

Academic Support (k-12)

Frequently asked questions

Where do your weekly meetups take place?

Our community is very active and meetups take place at various locations within Scarborough. For weekly Academic co-op, we have 2 sites and locations are shared with members. 

What days and timings do you meet?

Our co-op runs September - August! This means throughout the year. Most of our sessions are in the mornings between 10-1pm. Depending on the age, the families either meet on Wednesdays or Fridays.

What programs do you have?

We have gardening sessions for children age 3-6 years from May-September.

We run weekly Academics co-op for ages 3-6, 7-9. 

We rent a huge indoor gym from Oct-May for children 3-9 years to have active play time. 

We have life skills co-op for ages 10-12 years (starting Sep 2025)

We also have summer Arabic EarlyON for children 0-6 years.

What do you do at the Academics co-op?

Our terms cover various topics. For ages 3-6 years we have covered Grace & Courtesy unit as well as STEAM topics from a curriculum.

For ages 7-9 years, we covered Makkan period seerah through copywork and hands-on activities, dramatic arts teaching moral principles as well as Scientists in Schools workshops.

Is the membership for the month or for the year?

The membership fees are divided among all registered parents equally to pay rent for the rooms for the term (8-9 sessions) as well as provide healthy snacks time during the sessions.
